Olivine-diabase heater stones are suitable for use in both electric heaters and wood-burning stoves.

Broken stones store a lot of heat, and water evaporates efficiently from the wide surface of the fracture site. Angular broken stones are convenient to place in the heater. In electric heaters, it is especially important to place the stones so that the heat can spread as efficiently as possible between the hot stones and the heating elements in the sauna room. Good air circulation in the stone chamber helps electric heating elements and the hearth of wood-burning stoves last as long as possible.

Heating stones are available in two sizes. Smaller stones with a diameter of 5-10 cm are suitable for wall-mounted electric heaters with low power. Larger heating stones with a diameter of 10-15 cm are especially suitable for larger electric heaters and wood-burning stoves.
