Renovation Mortar Matiflex 25 kg

MA-405 MATIFLEX is a high-performance, S1-classification cement-based flexible adhesive with an extended open time and no vertical slip, suitable for ceramic tiles and stones.

Application areas:

Adhesion of all types and sizes of ceramic tiles, natural stone, marble, granite, porcelain tiles, clinker, and cotton to cement-based plasters, cement-based leveling compounds, and concrete for both indoor and outdoor use.
Tiling over existing ceramic tiles and granite.
Tiling on painted walls and plaster.
Tiling of ceramic tiles in swimming pools, basins, and other wet areas.
Tiling on terraces and balconies.
Tiling in areas with sudden temperature changes, such as cold storage rooms and underfloor heating systems.
Tiling in high-traffic areas, such as shopping centers, hospitals, and schools.
Approved for use with plywood.

Application:

The substrate must be intact, free of oil, grease, and sufficiently dry. Cement-based substrates must be cured.
Use repair mortar if the substrates are uneven to create a solid and even surface. Apply a primer to anhydrite leveling compounds.
If dusty, wipe the back of the tiles.
Slowly pour 25 kg of MA-405 MATIFLEX into 7.00 – 7.75 liters of clean water and mix until a smooth, lump-free paste is obtained. A low-speed mixer is recommended for mixing. Do not add additives not mentioned in the instructions.
Allow the mortar to stand for 5-10 minutes to mature. After 1-2 minutes of remixing, the paste is ready to be applied.
Consumption: 3-5 kg/m².
Use the prepared mortar within 6 hours.
