LATEKSIL – Deep matt acrylic water-based paint for walls and ceilings. Fast-drying easy-to-apply water-based paint with great adhesion to new and previously painted plaster, concrete, brick and gypsum board surfaces. Resistant to renovation repainting with this or similar paint. Paint is intended for painting of such mineral surfaces as walls and ceilings in dry low-duty areas, for example, warehouses, garages, etc. May be used for finishing of new and previously painted surfaces. Resistance to wet friction: Class IV EN 13300 (ISO 11998).

Preparation of paint for use

Mix paint well before application. Dilute with water till required viscosity, if necessary.

Preparation of surface

Clean off any dust, dirt, chalk, previously painted coat of glue paint or other type of old flaked paint. Treat the oil- or alkyd-painted surfaces with sandpaper until light-matte appearance is reached.

Priming of surface

Porous plaster and concrete surfaces should be primed using FORAKRIL BASE, AKROPRIM or LATEKSIL paint itself diluted in water up to 15% of the paint volume in advance.

Application

Apply 2 layers to be painted surfaces. Apply with a brush, roller or paint sprayer. For the application of the first layer, we recommend to dilute the paint with water up to 10%. Application of 1 – 2 layers is recommended for the previously painted surfaces. Air and painted surface temperature may not be lower than + 5ºC and higher than + 30ºC. Drying time at 20ºC temperature – 1 hour. Consumption 7÷10 m2/l.

Tool cleaning

Use water for cleaning of tools.

Storage period

36 months in tightly closed manufacturer’s container at the temperature exceeding +5ºC.
